Paul Jewell is set to continue his summer spending by sealing a £10million double deal for World Cup midfielders Niko Kranjcar and Denny Landzaat, according to the Sunday Express.
The Wigan boss splashed out £3million to sign Crystal Palace defender Fitz Hall earlier this week to end a frustrating time in the transfer market for him.
But he is now ready to step up his recruitment campaign with his swoop for Croatian Kranjcar and Holland international Landzaat.
Jewell said: "I need to bring in top players and I have seen some who have taken my eye at the World Cup. One could be here at Wigan very soon."
