Fiorentina are reported to have agreed a deal with Ajax for striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar.
The 22 year-old signed for Ajax in January from Heerenveen for a Dutch record fee of £6.2 million and has also been linked with a move to Juventus and Palermo.
However, reports in Italy suggest that Fiorentina have already agreed to sign the player who only just missed out on Marco van Basten's World Cup squad.
"I want to play in an attacking side, close to goal and preferably with wing attackers," he told UEFA.com.
If this deal was to go through, it would likely mean the end of Luca Toni's Fiorentina career with Inter Milan chasing his signature.
Huntelaar scored four goals for Holland as they won the European Under-21 Championships in Portugal last month, including two in the final against Ukraine.
He also scored 16 goals in just 15 starts after his move to Ajax, netting 33 in total for the season.
