Holland coach Marco van Basten is hoping to persuade Anderlecht striker Mbark Boussoufa to commit himself to playing for the Oranje.
Van Basten is due to travel to Belgium on Sunday to see Boussoufa play for Anderlecht at Westerlo, but faces a real challenge to convince him he should play for Holland.
The 22-year-old has both Dutch and Moroccan nationality, and has previously said he would prefer to play for the African nation, appearing in some non-official games for them.
Speaking to AD Sportwereld, the Ajax youth product insisted he has not changed his mind.
"I know that van Basten is following me," he said.
"It is right that I have not played any official games for Morocco, but as soon as I can I will play such a game.
"If van Basten selects me, I will inform him of my plans."
