Newly-signed striker Bart van den Eede
will make his debut for NEC Nijmegen in Sunday's match with ADO Den Haag.
NEC coach Cees Lok has had no hesitation in fielding Van den Eede who was
signed on loan from NAC Breda and will take the place of the suspended Romano
Denneboom.
Andrzej Niedzielan is happy that NEC have recruited another forward, saying:
"I have trained with him only twice so far.
"But I can already say that he is good in the air and that's what we need now
that Frank Demouge is out for a while.
"It's a pity that we must miss Denneboom against ADO, he is an important pawn
in our game."
Lok has been conducting a post mortem into the defeat by Willem II and admits
that NEC were simply not at the races on the day.
He said: "We were not sharp enough and we did not play according to our
gameplan.
"We are all responsible and everyone should take their responsibility in the
match too. I hope to see an improvement against ADO."
Den Haag coach Frans Adelaar must again do without injured pair Jamie Coyne
and Edson and will adjust his starting line-up accordingly for the mid-table
encounter.
Adelaar said: "The match against NEC is important for several reasons.
"First, the winners will stay in 14th place, the gap with the play-off places
will increase and we have to redeem ourselves after last week."
