Energie Cottbus have completed the signing of midfielder Christian Muller from Bundesliga rivals Hertha Berlin.
Cottbus announced on official website www.fcenergie.de on Thursday that the 23-year-old had been given permission to train with the club while a deal was thrashed out.
An undisclosed fee was agreed for the player's transfer from Hertha on Saturday, allowing Muller to accompany his new team-mates as they left for a training camp in Antalya.
"Christian Muller is very talented, and we believe that he can prove that if he gets a regular game," said Cottbus general manager Steffen Heidrich.
Muller becomes Cottbus' fifth signing of the transfer window after the arrivals of Michal Papadopulos, Branko Jelic, Ivan Radeljic and Dusan Vasiljevic.
