Bayern Munich general manager Uli Hoeness has been impressed with LA Galaxy forward Landon Donovan during his stay with the club, but will not comment on whether the move will become permanent.
Major League Soccer's player of the year is currently training with the Bavarians during the off-season in the United States.
Donovan is expected to return to the States at the end of his 10-day spell, after which time Hoeness hinted the club may consider looking into a permanent deal.
"He has only been here for two days and so I cannot say too much, but what I have seen has been okay. He can certainly kick the ball," he said.
"Donovan is just here for 10 days and only after that can I say anything more."
