St Etienne have confirmed they have been struck by a second case of swine flu.

The players and staff were placed in quarantine over the weekend after Brazilian attacker Ilan was hospitalised with the virus on Friday.

And a statement on the club's website, www.asse.fr, revealed that another player has fallen sick.

The club have not announced who the footballer is but reports suggest it is young striker Emmanuel Riviere.
