The French Football League have rescheduled the Ligue 1 clash between Marseille and Paris St Germain for Friday, November 20.
A statement from OM confirmed a decision was reached on a new date, with the original match postponed last weekend due to an outbreak of swine flu in the PSG camp.
Three players, including Ludovic Giuly and Mamadou Sakho, plus two members of the coaching staff were either confirmed to be suffering from the virus or had developed symptoms.
PSG and Marseille have arguably the fiercest rivalry in France and fans were injured in clashes in Marseille following the postponement.
The new date of November 20 means Marseille's clash with Sochaux, which had been scheduled for the following day, has now been switched to Wednesday, December 2.
The date of the Sochaux match could be moved again depending on Marseille's Champions League commitments.
(reopens) It was later announced extra security measures will be put in place to avoid a repeat of last Sunday's violent clashes in Marseille.
French interior minister, Brice Hortefeux, said: "We have taken note of this new date and decided to set up new safety measures to cope with the additional risks posed by this game."
