Paris St Germain will attempt to focus on on-field matters on Saturday as they go in search of a win against Monaco which will guarantee them a place in next season's Europa League.
PSG's build-up to the game has been far from ideal with current Valenciennes boss Antoine Kombouare finally being installed as the club's new coach for next season after weeks of speculation.
PSG had already decided not to renew Paul Le Guen's deal with the former Lyon boss waiting until Friday to deliver a stinging riposte at the way he has been treated.
The issue has clouded preparations for a match of huge significance for the club.
PSG are currently fifth - a position which would be good enough to play in Europe next season, two points ahead of Rennes and Lille.
Key midfielder Stephane Sessegnon will be missing through suspension, however.
Sessegnon told L'Equipe: "I am frustrated. The match against Monaco is probably the most important this season and I hope that it goes well."
Sessegnon has added to PSG's distractions in the build-up to the weekend clash by admitting he is considering his future in the French capital.
He is contracted to PSG until 2012 but has been linked with clubs in England in recent weeks.
He added: "I want to play with an ambitious team.
"This season PSG have done well and we must continue.
"I need to know what the club's plans are for next season. And until I do I cannot say 100 per cent that I will stay."
Marcos Ceara and Ludovic Giuly have struggled with a virus this week but both are expected to play against a Monaco side languishing in mid-table and with little to play for.
The visitors, unfortunate to lose at league leaders Bordeaux last weekend, will hand a final appearance in a Monaco shirt to Camel Meriem, who is set to leave the club after four seasons.
The 29-year-old said: "I am at an age when I want to taste something different.
"I will leave the club and aim to move abroad. It will be Germany or Spain, the two leagues which interest me most."
