Colchester's former England Under-19 international winger Medy Elito has signed a new two-year deal with the League One club.
The 19-year-old former youth team player has found opportunities difficult to come by this season but believes his future lies at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
"We are really pleased that Medy has decided to pen this contract," chief executive Steve Bradshaw told the club's official website.
