Southampton goalkeeper Kelvin Davis remains confident his beleaguered side's first League One victory of the season is just around the corner.
Saints came agonisingly close to breaking their duck at Stockport on Saturday, only to be denied by a last-minute equaliser.
"We've come an extremely long way and we've certainly added to the squad," said skipper Davis.
"We feel that we're heading in the right direction but obviously a few more points is what we wanted, but it's not to be.
"As a squad and as a club we're still in transition, and it's not easy, but our performance against Stockport showed that we can certainly get points."
