Non-league Kettering will get the chance to test their giant-killing potential against the best team in the competition after being drawn against former winners Leeds in the FA Cup second round.

The Blue Square Premier side were rewarded for Saturday's 1-0 win over Hartlepool with a home draw against the runaway Coca-Cola League One leaders, who won the FA Cup in 1972.

Simon Grayson's side will be looking to avoid being knocked out by non-league opposition for a second successive season, having been beaten by Histon last term.

Kettering, whose manager Mark Cooper is the son of former Leeds and England defender Terry Cooper, have enjoyed an impressive start to the campaign and lie third in the Blue Square Premier.

Blue Square North side Northwich Victoria, who beat another former FA Cup winning team, Charlton, 1-0 on Sunday, were drawn at home to League Two Lincoln.

Staines Town of the Blue Square South, the conquerors of Shrewsbury in the first round, could meet a League One team in Millwall, if the Lions see off AFC Wimbledon on Monday night.

Norwich, who were the most convincing winners at this weekend as they hammered Paulton 7-0, face a trip to Carlisle or Morecambe in the next round.

Boss Paul Lambert said on the club's official website: "Although it would have been nice to get drawn at Carrow Road, we showed at Paulton on Saturday that we want to do well in the FA Cup and progress as far as we can.

"Whether the game is at Carlisle or at Morecambe we know it will be tough and we will once again prepare thoroughly."

York, who ended Crewe's hopes in the last round, were given a tricky-looking trip to Blue Square Premier rivals Cambridge United.

Blue Square South side Bath City, who beat Grimsby on Saturday, were paired with Forest Green or Mansfield.

Elsewhere, Northampton are at home to Southampton, Hereford face Colchester, Wrexham are up against Swindon and Milton Keynes Dons take on Exeter.

Tranmere or Leyton Orient play Aldershot, Bournemouth are up against Notts County, Oxford United play Barrow and Stockport host Torquay.

Wycombe or Brighton, who shared eight goals in the first round, were drawn against Rushden and Diamonds, while Luton Town or Rochdale were handed a trip to Rotherham.

Gillingham play Burton, Gateshead or Brentford face Walsall, Accrington Stanley host Barnet and Port Vale or Stevenage tackle Huddersfield.

The ties will be played on the weekend of November 28 and 29.
