Jackie McNamara, Burton O'Brien and Kjartan Finnbogason all face lay-offs for Falkirk. McNamara has been ruled out for six weeks with a knee ligament injury and O'Brien (stomach) is out for eight weeks. Finnbogason faces three weeks out with a knee injury, while Thomas Scobbie (pubis) remains on the sidelines.
Celtic skipper Stephen McManus is available. The defender was suspended for last week's win over Kilmarnock but returns before serving a second match ban when the domestic action resumes after the international break. Midfielders Scott Brown and Shaun Maloney both remain on the sidelines with an ankle injury and tendonitis respectively.
