There is no place among the substitutes for midfielder Laryea Kingston despite the Ghanaian making his first appearance of the season as a substitute at Pittodrie. Falkirk's Scott Arfield and Burton O'Brien recover from knocks to start but there is no place in manager Eddie May's squad for striker Carl Finnigan, who has an injured ankle. Alex MacDonald is handed a starting role at Danijel Marceta's expense, while Kjartan Finnbogason is also brought in.
