Former Sunderland boss Peter Reid has dismissed speculation linking him with a move to Southampton.
Reports have suggested a consortium looking to gain control at St Mary's have targeted Reid as the man they want to lead the team.
Reid, who spent one season playing for Southampton in 1993-94, is currently coach of the Thailand national team and he is under contract until 2012.
Ex-Leeds chief Reid insists he is unaware of the rumours linking him with Southampton and remains happy with his role with Thailand.
"I know nothing about the reports, they were just speculation from England," Reid told the Bangkok Post.
"I'm happy to remain head coach of the Thai national team."
