Marc Janko's agent claims the Austria striker will hold talks about joining Celtic next week.

The Salzburg forward reportedly spoke to Hoops boss Gordon Strachan in January.

Agent Georg Stangassinger said: "Marc remains open to the idea of Celtic after he was impressed by his talks with the coach.

"I have since had one more conversation with Celtic and we will talk again next week.

"Tottenham have had him watched recently but we're still more in contact with Celtic than any other club."

One player who looks set to complete a move to Parkhead is goalkeeper Dominic Cervi.

The 22-year-old American, who has a trial with Celtic last year, has successfully applied for an Italian passport.

He said: "Once everything is wrapped up, I will head back to Glasgow to finalise that deal."
