Manchester City midfielder Elano should be fit to face Bolton on Sunday after being forced out of the defeat by Tottenham because of a bizarre injury.
The Brazilian came off at White Hart Lane after an opponent accidentally poked him in the eye.
Elano turned up to collect his club player of the month award for April with his eye still slightly bloodshot.
He was in good spirits and thanked the guests, adding: "I love to score goals for Manchester City."
Elano's season will continue after the weekend as he has been called up by Brazil for the Confederations Cup in South Africa.
