Ryan Giggs and Wes Brown are set to be offered new deals by Manchester United, even though talks with the duo are yet to start.
Both players are entering the final year of their contracts at Old Trafford, with Giggs, 33, closing in on Sir Bobby Charlton's record of 754 appearances for the club and Brown a veteran of over 250 games for the Red Devils.
But while neither player has been offered a new deal yet, chief executive David Gill insists there is no need to worry.
He said: "We're always relaxed about Ryan because we trust him and he trusts us. I'm sure we'll look at that."
As for Brown, Gill added: "Wes likes it here and we will be looking to extend his deal."
That will come as a relief to the 27-year-old who said over the weekend: "I love playing for United and talk of me leaving this summer was rubbish.
"I have never thought of going anywhere else because it would be a step down. Having that conversation with the manager is something I dread."
