Hibernian manager John Collins is hoping 'trial by television' will help his side bounce back to winning ways at Falkirk in the Bank of Scotland Premier League.
The Easter Road boss suffered his first defeat in charge of the team when Rangers claimed a 3-0 triumph over the Edinburgh club at Ibrox last weekend.
The former Scotland international was left disappointed after the loss, which ended a six-game unbeaten run.
But Collins believes video analysis of the game with his players this week can help Hibs claim all three points at the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday.
He said: "You always learn something from a defeat as a player and as a manager.
"We didn't do things correctly in the first 45 minutes at Ibrox and that's why we were back on the training park to work on those weaknesses.
"We also watched the video, learned from it and will try to put it right.
"When I watched it on video, it wasn't as bad as I thought sitting on the touchline.
"But, after watching it a second or third time, you always see things you don't see standing at the side.
"Sometimes you see a bigger picture on the television. You can talk all day long, but seeing doubles the impact.
"There were certain aspects where we have been doing well but we didn't do against Rangers.
"It was a torturous 45 minutes but it's a learning process and the video is a great tool."
Northern Ireland international Ivan Sproule added to Collins' misery at Rangers by being red-carded for two bookable offences.
The 25-year-old now faces a four-match suspension but his manager is convinced he has learned a harsh lesson.
Collins added: "Discipline has been terrific, the players have been aggressive, but controlled.
"However, Ivan overstepped the mark at the weekend with a needless red card.
"He knows that, has apologised and I like to think it won't happen again.
"We will miss him for four games and want players on the pitch, not sitting in the stand."
