AC Milan want to sign Atletico Madrid's World Cup stars Maxi Rodriguez and Fernando Torres.
The Italian giants currently have the £30million they received from Chelsea for Andriy Shevchenko burning a massive hole in their pockets.
And now, according to reports from Italy, they're ready to splash out for two of the biggest stars so far at Germany 2006.
The reports, published in Spanish daily Marca on Monday, say the Rossoneri are willing to pay 40million Euros (around £27million) plus a player for the Atletico pair.
Milan chief Silvio Berlusconi is ready to tell his staff to make contact with Atletico to make the deal happen.
Argentina midfielder Rodriguez has been a big hit in his team's run to the last eight - scoring three goals in the process.
He boosted his reputation yet further with a sensational extra-time winner against Mexico in round two last Saturday.
Torres meanwhile has also netted three times and has been hugely impressive leading the Spanish line.
'El Nino' is also wanted by the Premiership's two biggest guns Chelsea and Manchester United.
But he could see a move to Italy as preferable and Milan have the cash to spend.
