Brazil striker Ronaldo reportedly weighed just under 15 stone when he began his World Cup preparations.
In an interview reproduced on Spanish daily Marca, the team's physical trainer Moraci Sant'Anna admitted the Real Madrid man had scaled 94.7 kilos when he joined up with the squad for the tournament in Germany - around 14st 11lbs.
Since then the toothy phenomenon has shed around four kilos to slim down to just over 14st.
But even with that weight loss he's still looked sluggish and overweight during his team's opening two games against Croatia and Japan.
He was substituted during the first of those two games after a particularly unimpressive display.
Sant'Anna now says Ronaldo is only a kilo over his ideal weight, but says that isn't a massive issue.
Ronaldo's weight problems have been put down to the time he missed with Real Madrid due to injuries in the recent La Liga season.
