Goalkeeper Boy Waterman is poised to leave Dutch champions AZ Alkmaar this summer after falling down the pecking order at the club.
AZ have completed the signing of De Graafschap's Erik Heijblok, who will battle for the number one jersey with Sergio Romero and Joey Didulica.
The club's director of football, Marcel Brands, made clear Waterman had no future with the club as he hailed the arrival of the new signing.
He said: "We will compete in the Champions League this season and we now enjoy the luxury of three first-team goalkeepers - Sergio Romero, Joey Didulica and our latest signing Erik Heijblok."
That announcement has prompted 25-year-old Waterman to inform the club he wants to move on.
"He told us that he wants to become first keeper somewhere, so he is looking for a club," Brands confirmed to Noordhollands Dagblad newspaper.
Waterman, whose contract runs until 2011, made 34 appearances in three years at AZ and spent last season on loan at ADO Den Haag.
