Marseille captain Lorik Cana hopes his team's impressive away form can continue to make up for their poor recent results at home as they go in search of a third-placed finish in Ligue 1.
OM have lost three of their last four matches at the Stade Velodrome, the latest being a 2-1 defeat to Bordeaux on Sunday, and have slipped behind Nancy into fourth place with two games left.
However, they have won three on the spin on the road and will look to make it four when they take on Le Mans at the Stade Omnisports Leon Bollee on Saturday.
"We would love to play all our matches at home, with the stadium and the supporters that we have," said Cana.
"But we have lost three of out last four games at home and it is difficult to reach our end-of-season objectives with results like these.
"Happily for us, we have been successful away in the meantime. From now on, we have no choice but to get maximum points from the last two matches."
With Nancy playing at league leaders Lyon this weekend, Marseille know a win over eighth-placed Le Mans would probably lift them into third ahead of the final game of the campaign.
But Cana added: "We know it won't be easy, especially at a ground which hasn't been good to us recently.
"But we know we can open the door to the preliminary round of the Champions League with a win."
OM will be without the suspended Djibril Cisse, so young striker Guy Gnabouyou has been called into the squad by coach Eric Gerets.
Le Mans coach Rudi Garcia, whose side are two points off fifth, has named an 18-man squad but is without key defender Marko Basa (Achilles).
Hassan Yebda and Jean Calve have shrugged off knocks and are fit but Mamadou Samassa (ankle) and Alphousseyni Keita (back) are still sidelined.
