Future Holland coach Bert van Marwijk is hoping to convince Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar to extend his international career.
Van der Sar revealed back in October that he would stop playing for Holland after Euro 2008.
But Van Marwijk is keen to keep the 37-year-old as his number one when he takes over from Marco van Basten after the summer tournament.
"I will try to speak with him and try to convince him to stay on as keeper of Oranje," said Van Marwijk on Sport 1. "He is still a very good keeper."
Van der Sar has won 123 caps for Holland.
