Sky Bet make him 5/6 favourite from 2/1, while Ladbrokes and BetVictor cut their quotes to 13/8 and 11/8 respectively.
Coral also revised a previous 2/1 quote to 6/4 and their Tim Reynolds said: "If Aston Villa fail to qualify past Bradford, questions are surely going to be asked about Paul Lambert's tenure at Villa Park.
"Prior to the first leg, this competition looked to be Paul Lambert's saving grace, but Villa now face an uphill struggle to qualify through to the final."
William Hill go 7/4 that the Scot is out of a job come the second leg, and Bradford are now odds-on at 4/6 to reach the final of the competition.
"This has been the most exciting and unpredictable League Cup in years and there can't be many betting against them reaching Wembley now," said William Hill spokesman Joe Crilly.
Bradford can still be backed at 9/1 to lift the trophy with BetVictor and Paddy Power, with Villa shorter at 8/1 on the basis that they'd be considered more likely to win should they reach the final.
Chelsea remain firm favourites at 1/2 ahead of Wednesday's clash with Swansea, who are general 5/1 chances.
