Sao Paulo attacking midfielder Lucas Moura remains the Nerazzurri's top target while Parma striker Sebastian Giovinco is also on the club's radar.
Moura, 19, has been strongly linked with a move to Europe this summer, with Chelsea and Real Madrid also linked with the Brazilian starlet.
But that will not pressure Inter into an early move.
"Moura? It's only June 11 and there is all the time in the world to prepare the squad well," Ausilio told Sky Italia.
"We want to strengthen our team and our president (Massimo Moratti) has given us guarantees in that respect.
"Our aim is to be competitive next season in Italy and in Europe."
Giovinco, who is currently competing at the European Championship with Italy, has been linked with a move away from Parma this summer.
The 25-year-old striker is part-owned by Juventus.
"We have spoken to Parma regarding Giovinco," Ausilio said."He is a good player that has grown a lot in recent years.
"We are monitoring him and we will see in the next few days.
"But I cannot confirm that we are more interested in him than in other players."
Inter finished sixth in Serie A and missed out on Champions League football next season.
