England will start their World Cup campaign against Italy in the capital of the state of Amazonas.

Three more group games follow in the furthest north of all the tournament's stadiums.

Organisers felt it was important to take the World Cup to all four corners of the country despite fears the stadium will become a white elephant once the tournament ends. Humidity can reach over 80 per cent.

Capacity: 42,374
