The surface was subject to close inspection by UEFA officials, but a Football Association of Wales spokesman confirmed during a player media session on Tuesday afternoon that the pitch had been given the green light.
Had that not happened, the game was set to have been moved to Barcelona.
Wales will look to begin their qualifying campaign in flying fashion, especially given the presence of Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey in manager Chris Coleman's squad.
