Lionel Messi and Karim Benzema are both movers in Sky Bet's World Cup top goalscorer market after starting the tournament in style.

Messi scored a sensational goal in Argentina's 2-1 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina to get the action in Group F under way.

Sky Bet have trimmed the Barcelona maestro from 15/2 to 5/1 to end the World Cup as the top goalscorer and Argentina can be backed at 7/2 to win the tournament.

Benzema netted a double in France's convincing's 3-0 victory over 10-man Honduras in Group E.

The striker has been cut all the way in from 28/1 to 6/1 to finish as the top goalscorer in a market that is still headed at 4/1 by Brazil star Neymar, who also has two goals to his name so far.

Holland forward Robin van Persie is the other name at the head of the betting after his double in the 5-1 destruction of Spain.

France remain a 16/1 shot with Sky Bet to lift the trophy. Brazil head the outright market at 3/1.

Sunday's other World Cup match saw Switzerland score a winner with seconds remaining to beat Ecuador 2-1 in Group E.

France and Switzerland are both odds-on at 1/16 and 1/8 respectively in the Group E qualification betting.

Ecuador can be backed at 4/1 to bounce back and secure a spot in the last 16. Honduras are out at 16/1.
