A come-from-behind 3-1 victory over Sunderland at Wembley on Sunday sealed the first leg of what could be an historic trophy haul.

City were cut for the treble of Premier League, FA Cup and Capital One Cup, a feat never achieved since the League Cup was born back in the 1960/61 season, following their win with the Leeds-based firm making it a 100/30 chance.

City are technically still in the hunt for an unprecedented Quadruple but they are out at 250/1 for that having fallen 2-0 down to Barcelona in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Manuel Pellegrini's men are currently odds-on at 5/6 to win the FA Cup, something they last did in 2011. They play host to Wigan in a repeat of last season's final next Sunday in the quarter-finals.

However, City are only 11/8 second favourites for the league title after slipping six points behind leaders Chelsea, although they do have two games in hand.

Sky Bet's head of football trading Paul Wiggins said: "Considering City are 14/1 to overturn a two-goal deficit to Barcelona in the Champions League, a domestic treble looks their best chance of a trophy haul.

"It's a feat no English club has managed before but they're looking good value to be the first, with Chelsea's league form seemingly the only thing standing in the way of domestic dominance.

"They've got Wigan at home next weekend in the FA Cup quarter-final and we go as short 1/7 on City securing their place in the last four within 90 minutes."

City trailed to an early Fabio Borini goal at half time on Sunday but stunning strikes from Yaya Toure and Samir Nasri turned the game on its head early in the second half. A late Jesus Navas goal sealed the victory and Pellegrini's first trophy at the helm of the club.
