Dan Gardner sparked a four-goal first-half outburst as Chesterfield went two points clear at the top of Sky Bet League 2 with a 4-1 win over Cheltenham.
The hosts were blown away by four goals in eight first-half minutes, with Gardner opening the floodgates after 22 minutes before Eoin Doyle (23), Oliver Banks (26) and Liam Cooper (29) also netted.
Byron Harrison replied in the 57th minute, but the Spireites were home and hosed by then.
The win took Chesterfield two points clear of second-placed Scunthorpe, who could only draw 1-1 with Bristol Rovers.
