The Colombia international has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United recently and Sky Bet now go 2/1 (in from 11/1 a week ago) that he makes the switch to Old Trafford this summer.
Sir Alex Ferguson has played down the speculation but the press reports continue with Real Madrid and Chelsea also thought to be in the running for the forward's signature.
What is there to know about the 27-year-old former Porto and River Plate striker? Find out right now:
Who Wants Him?
Manchester United (2/1 to sign Falcao this summer with Sky Bet): The Red Devils are at the head of Sky Bet's next club market for Falcao after press speculation over the last week but where would the forward fit in? His arrival at Old Trafford would surely see an attacking departure from Old Trafford and that has led to the rumour mill linking Wayne Rooney and Javier Hernandez with a move away. There is no doubt about Falcao's quality but other clubs need him more so will United go that extra mile? Sir Alex Ferguson did for Robin van Persie so don't entirely rule it out.
Manchester City (4/1): This season has proved just how much City could have done with beating United to the signature of van Persie last summer. That means a new striker is a must during the summer and they don't come much better than Falcao. Mario Balotelli departed the Etihad in January, Edin Dzeko continues to be linked with a return to Germany and there are always question marks about Carlos Tevez's future. That means Sergio Aguero is the only forward City have to rely on and another top-class attacker in their armoury would definitely be a good thing.
Real Madrid (9/2): Real know just how good Falcao is having seen him strut his stuff for local rivals Atletico over the last couple of seasons. The Colombian continues to perform better than Karim Benzema and Gonzalo Higuain to make his mark as the number one striker in the Spanish capital. Cristiano Ronaldo is the main man with the goals for Real but Falcao could easily slot in alongside the Portuguese star. Now that really would be something to frighten Europe's top clubs.
Chelsea (7/1): The Blues have consistently been linked with a move for Falcao over the last couple of years and you can easily see how he would fit in at the head of their attack. Fernando Torres has failed to sparkle since moving south from Liverpool and there's no doubt just how much the fans would welcome the statement of intent that the signing would bring. We are a long way from knowing who will be in charge of Chelsea next season but that didn't stop them sorting out the deal for Eden Hazard before Roberto Di Matteo was confirmed as boss last summer. Expect owner Roman Abramovich to go all out if Falcao is his number one target.
Also available with Sky Bet: Barcelona (12/1), Bayern Munich (16/1), Juventus (20/1).
Sky Bet's Chris Spicer says: "Manchester United were pushed out from 6/5 to 2/1 to sign Falcao after Ferguson this weekend scoffed at the reports linking the Columbian with a move to Old Trafford.
"Rivals Manchester City are the 4/1 second favourites in the market to sign forward, should they need to replace Edin Dzeko who has been widely linked with a move to Germany.
"It does seem clear however that Falcao will leave Atletico Madrid in summer, with the club looking to cash in on their star striker."
This season's Primera Division: 28 games, 24 goals - including five goals in one match against Deportivo and a hat-trick against Athletic Bilbao

What Falcao Says
April 2013: "In recent weeks I have tried to isolate myself and not think about the rumours about my future. I do not really know where that information (joining Manchester United) has come from, that is part of the press. I'm focused only on Atletico Madrid. I do not let the market rumours affect my performance." RCN.
January 2013: "I think English football is an important league. It's where football was born and people watch it passionately.
