Dundee v Dundee Utd

Dundee are without the cup-tied Gary Harkins but Matt Lockwood returns from suspension and Declan Gallagher is free to play after being sent off in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League draw with St Johnstone. The hosts are still without Stephen O'Donnell (knee), Mark Kerr (knee), Jamie McCluskey (Achilles) and Carl Finnigan (knee).

United striker Johnny Russell should make the derby after coming off with a leg knock at Inverness in midweek. Defender Gavin Gunning is out after his recent tidy-up knee operation but there are no other fresh injury worries. Recent signing Marcus Tornstrand is getting fitter but Sunday looks like coming too early for him.

Last season: No corresponding fixture.

Top scorers (all competitions): Ryan Conroy (Dundee) 4; Johnny Russell (Dundee Utd) 20.

Referee: Iain Brines (Scotland).

Kilmarnock v Hibernian

Kilmarnock have doubts over James Fowler and James Dayton after the midfielders picked up knocks in Wednesday's league draw with the Edinburgh side. Borja Perez and Manuel Pascali remain on the sidelines with hamstring problems. Kris Boyd started for the under-20s in their 4-2 win over Motherwell on Thursday night as he bids to make his first appearance since re-signing for the club.

Hibernian should have defender Paul Hanlon back in their squad - Hanlon was not risked in the Clydesdale Bank Premier League draw with Killie on Wednesday because of a hip knock but is set to play at Rugby Park.

Defender Tim Clancy remains on the sidelines with a hamstring injury.

Last season: No corresponding fixture.

Top scorers (all competitions): Paul Heffernan (Kilmarnock) 11; Leigh Griffiths (Hibernian) 19.

Referee: John Beaton (Scotland).
