Hibs went down 3-2 at home to Motherwell last weekend to slip to fourth in the SPL table following their bright start to the campaign.
They are still only seven points behind Celtic and just three off second spot but a fifth defeat in six league matches against Kilmarnock on Sunday would see them dragged into the mid-table scrap.
Their opponents currently lie eighth but would move to within two points of the Hibees with victory at Rugby Park.
Killie were impressive 2-0 winners at Pittodrie against Aberdeen last weekend but very often good results are followed by bad for the Ayrshiremen.
They haven't yet managed to go more than two games unbeaten and on four occasions out of seven have followed a victory with a defeat.
Hibs have only won three times on the road this season but they certainly have the quality to claim all three points here and given the importance of this match to them, it may be worth backing them at just over 2/1.
Inverness are on a sensational run and you wouldn't want to back against them no matter the opposition. This weekend they face bottom side Dundee and are hot favourites to notch up an eighth league win of the season.
Despite sitting third in the table though, Terry Butcher's side have the worst defensive record in the league having shipped 32 in their 18 games.
Luckily for the boys at the back, their forward thinking team-mates have been on fire with the Highlanders finding the net on 38 occasions - five more than their nearest challengers.
They are vulnerable at the back and Dundee should get chances at the Caledonian Stadium so in the absence of much value elsewhere, it may be worth getting a Dark Blues forward onside.
Colin Nish has only scored twice this season so far but has missed a number of excellent opportunities. He's 11/4 to score on Saturday which is worth a small punt.
