Pardew worried about Taylor
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew says he may enter the transfer market and try to land a defender after Ryan Taylor was injured in the Europa League play-off win over Greek side Atromitos.

A 1-0 victory on the night gave the Magpies a 2-1 win on aggregate but it came at a price, Taylor going off with a potentially serious knee injury 11 minutes into the game.
Pardew said: "I fear that the news isn't going to be good on that injury, if I am honest, which is a shame because he is an important player for us. We will have to wait and see.
"The Ryan Taylor injury will make me think about whether we perhaps need another defender. I shall go to see the chairman and have a discussion with him."
The Magpies qualified for the Europa League group stage thanks to a Haris Vuckic goal but Pardew admitted they have may have been lucky to survive a penalty shout which came after goalkeeper Tim Krul had challenged Chumbinho.
Pardew said: "My gut feeling from the sideline was that it was in the balance. The reaction of their players and the reaction of mine suggested it might have been a penalty. You need that little bit of luck sometimes."
Atromitos boss Dusan Bejavic said: "It doesn't matter, what is done is done. We are looking forward to the future and I am really proud of my players.
"We are going away from this situation with our heads held high."
