For the second straight year, Roberto Mancini's Premier League champions have been dealt a tough group, and they are joined in Group D by Dutch champions Ajax and German champions Borussia Dortmund.

European champions Chelsea begin the defence of their crown in Group E alongside Italian champions Juventus, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Danish outfit FC Nordsjaelland.

Manchester United will be reasonably happier with their draw. In Group H they will take on Braga, Galatasaray and CFR Cluj, while Arsenal will face Schalke,

Olympiacos, and Montpellier in Group B.

SPL champions Celtic will surely be guaranteed a full house at Parkhead for their Group G clash with Barcelona. Alongside the Spanish giants, Celtic will also face Spartak Moscow and Benfica.

Real Madrid midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that Group D was the toughest.

Ronaldo said: "It is the most difficult group in my opinion and I think that's the same for most people.

"But we are champions of Spain and we are ready to compete with everybody."
