Marveaux off to Guingamp
Newcastle midfielder Sylvain Marveaux has joined French club Guingamp on a season-long loan deal, the Magpies have confirmed.

The 28-year-old joined the Barclays Premier League club on a free transfer from Rennes during the summer of 2011 and has made 57 appearances.
However, only 11 of them came last season and he has fallen so far out of favour that he, like fellow Frenchman Hatem Ben Arfa, was not included in the senior squad which flew out to New Zealand at the weekend after training with the development squad during the early part of pre-season.
Manager Alan Pardew has made six signings so far this summer, and with midfielders Jack Colback, Siem de Jong and Remy Cabella among that number, Marveaux's involvement would have been even more limited next season.
