France have been cut from 14/1 to 9/1 by Sky Bet to win the World Cup after impressing in the 5-2 victory against Switzerland.

Didier Deschamps' side had already dispatched Honduras with ease in their opening game and followed up with a very convincing destruction of the Swiss.

Olivier Giroud, Blaise Matuidi, Karim Benzema, Mathieu Valbuena and Moussa Sissoko got the France goals and they now sit on the verge of qualification from Group E after making it six points from their first two games.

Brazil, Argentina and Germany are now the only three nations who sit above France in Sky Bet's outright market.

Benzema is second in Sky Bet's top goalscorer betting.

The striker has been cut to 7/2 after netting against Switzerland and Germany forward Thomas Muller is the only man ahead of him in the market at 11/4 following his hat-trick in the victory over Portugal.

Lionel Messi and Arjen Robben can both be backed at 6/1, while Neymar and Robin van Persie are both available at 7/1.

England's exit from the World Cup has been confirmed after Costa Rica beat Italy 1-0 in Group D.

Costa Rica are 50/1 (in from 250/1) to win the World Cup but England's next task is qualification for Euro 2016.
