The Scot secured his fourth promotion in a row when he guided the Millers into the Championship with a play-off win over Leyton Orient.

Two of those promotions came with Crawley and two with United and, after the fixtures for the new season were announced on Wednesday, the former Boston manager was able to think big again.

His side start against Derby - Championship play-off final losers - and then take on Wolves a week later.

"It (Wembley) was a wonderful occasion and the reality of what that occasion brings you only comes this morning with the release of the fixtures and what an incredible start the league have given us," he told Sky Sports News.

"We are coming up against a former England manager (Steve McClaren) and it will be a full house.

"We genuinely don't think there will be a Saturday or a Tuesday where we won't have a big match. We host clubs from the Premier League and also ones that are local to us. We will try and embrace it, secure our place and then see what we can achieve."

Asked if he can make it a hat-trick with Rotherham, Evans said: "I think the reality is you can always dream."
