Sky Bet have pushed Liverpool's Barclays Premier League title odds out from 10/3 to 8/1 following their remarkable capitulation at Crystal Palace.

The Reds, who were as short as 1/6 before their defeat to Chelsea, were trimmed to 11/4 in-play as they headed back to the top of the table, before Tony Pulis' men made light of odds of 150/1 to salvage a draw from 3-0 down.

It represented another odds-defying feat for Pulis, with the Eagles 1/20 for relegation when the former Stoke boss was appointed with just four points to their name from the opening 11 Premier League games.

Monday night's result has also seen the Palace manager cut to 8/13 to be named LMA Manager of the Year, replacing Brendan Rodgers (7/2) as favourite for the award.

Paul Wiggins, Sky Bet's head of football, said: "Liverpool fans will not enjoy the sight of the revised outright market as their odds are more than doubled.

"We saw a fair few bets on Palace to snatch a draw at triple-figure odds and we can only assume it was Liverpool fans fearing the worst, so at least they have some financial consolation for a result which will be tough to stomach."
