Real Madrid crushed Bayern Munich 4-0 in the semi-final second leg in Germany on Tuesday and will play either city rivals Atletico or former manager Jose Mourinho's Chelsea in the tournament decider in Lisbon on May 24.
Ronaldo now wants to follow up his Champions League final win with Manchester United in 2008 by lifting the trophy with Real in Portugal.
"It's a kind of a dream," Ronaldo told Sky Sports News. "My dream is to win the Champions League in Lisbon in my country, so we work hard, we're going to work hard to win this amazing trophy."
Ronaldo scored twice to take his tally to 16 goals in 10 games in the tournament this season, beating Lionel Messi's record of 14 in 11 matches.
He said: "It was a special moment to score 16 goals in the Champions League - it's the record, so I feel glad for that.
"But we have to appreciate to play in the final in Portugal, I think this is the most important," added Ronaldo, who does not care whether Real play Chelsea or Atletico in Lisbon.
"I don't have a preference; both of them are very strong."
