St Johnstone v Aberdeen

Aberdeen winger Jonny Hayes has lost his battle to make the semi-final. He is making good progress from a collarbone injury but manager Derek McInnes has ruled him out of this match. Alan Tate and Calvin Zola are both carrying knocks.

St Johnstone midfielder Gary McDonald has failed in his bid to prove his fitness following a knee injury sustained three weeks ago. Despite being spared surgery, the 31-year-old has been ruled out. Long-term absentees Tam Scobbie (ankle) and Murray Davidson (knee) are also unavailable for the Ibrox clash.

Top scorers (all competitions): Stevie May (St Johnstone) 23; Niall McGinn (Aberdeen) 12

Referee: William Collum

Our verdict: St Johnstone 1 Aberdeen 3
