Following Friday's 2-1 win over Sheffield Wednesday, the Foxes knew they could go up if results went their way on Saturday.

And when both QPR and Derby were beaten, their place back in the big time was sealed after 10 seasons in the lower divisions.

Sky Bet make Nigel Pearson's side 4/9 to survive and 13/8 to be relegated at the first attempt. It's 5/1 they manage a top-half finish.

Sky Bet's Dale Tempest said: "Leicester have been in phenomenal form of late and we make them champions-elect at 1/200 to finish the job off as worthy winners of the division."

In this season's relegation market, Crystal Palace are out to 10/1 to go down following a 3-0 win at drop rivals Cardiff, who are now as short as 1/12.

Fulham and Sunderland are both odds-on too, although the former gave themselves a fighting chance of survival by winning 2-1 at Aston Villa.

Norwich are now regarded as the team under most threat from the current bottom three after losing 1-0 at home to West Brom.

The Canaries are into 6/4 for relegation with West Brom lengthened to 4/1.

Meanwhile, Sky Bet reported that a massive accumulator had cost them more than £127,000.

One customer had 5p 13-folds across 15 selections, his one winning line reaping a huge profit as many of the picks were outsiders.

The 13 winners were: Northampton (21/10), Wycombe (11/8), Portsmouth (6/4), Crewe (13/5), Carlisle (19/10), Tranmere (9/5), Yeovil (5/2), Millwall (4/1), Birmingham (9/5), Fulham (11/4), West Brom (11/5), Crystal Palace (21/10) and Hull (8/5).
