St Johnstone progressed to the semi-finals of the William Hill Scottish Cup with a 3-1 victory over Championship strugglers Raith Rovers at Stark's Park.
On a day when the swirling wind made life impossible for both sides at times, Perth midfielder Gary McDonald opened the scoring in the third minute only for Rovers midfielder Joe Cardle to level in the 21st minute with a 30-yard pile driver.
Saints forward Nigel Hasselbaink restored the Scottish Premiership side's lead in the 49th minute with a toe-poked shot before defender Steven Anderson made sure of their place in Sunday's draw in the 78th minute with a third.
Adam Rooney took his Aberdeen goal tally to six in eight games to ease Derek McInnes' side closer to a second cup final of the season, as the Dons overcame Dumbarton 1-0.
It was the home side who got the crucial breakthrough after 53 minutes. Barry Robson swung a corner to the near post, and Rooney got in front of his marker to head past Stephen Grindlay.
