The Scottish Football Association announced on Saturday that Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths would replace Snodgrass, whom Norwich have asked to be rested from international duty due to a recurring muscle problem.
And Hanley will also now be absent, the SFA confirming on Twitter: "Scotland A Update: Out - Grant Hanley, @robsnodgrass7. In - @Leighgriff09".
Griffiths spoke about his inclusion for a prospective fifth cap after scoring a hat-trick in the Hoops' 5-0 win over Inverness on Saturday.
"It is a bonus," he said. "I am absolutely buzzing to go.
"I think (Scotland coach Gordon Strachan) made comments about me not being in the original squad because I wasn't playing for Wolves in the last month and a half or so and he wanted me to have time to settle in here - and I have done that kind of quickly."
