The former Hibernian striker was handed his first Hoops start against St Johnstone on Sunday and helped send Stokes on his way to a hat-trick as Celtic ran out 3-0 winners.
The Scotland international teed up Stokes for his first goal after 16 minutes, while boss Neil Lennon praised Griffiths for his energy through out the match as the Scottish Premiership leaders reaffirmed their 23-point lead over Aberdeen.
Now Griffiths says he hopes to link up with Stokes to similar success in the coming weeks.
He told CelticTV: "It was good to make my debut but the most important thing was to get the three points and get the win, and I thought the boys did that with a very good performance.
"You always want to bounce back after a defeat and I thought we did that from start to finish. We were excellent and the important thing now is to try and continue that next week.
"Stokey was magnificent today. Everything he touched seemed to go in and he was the one who was linking the play for us and with his goals, he fully deserved that hat-trick.
"Our styles seem to compliment each other. The manager was saying that we both seemed to work really well."
