Konoplyanka was the subject of a bid from Liverpool on Transfer Deadline Day, only for FC Dnipro's owner to reportedly fail to sign the necessary paperwork on time.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has since hinted that he'll renew his interest in the summer and Sky Bet make Liverpool odds-on favourites to sign Ukrainian winger in the next transfer window. They quote 1/2 that he's moved to Anfield before September 1.

Spurs were also linked with a move for Konoplyanka and are 5/1, while Manchester United can be backed at 9/1 with the online firm.

Schalke's Julian Draxler was the other high-profile player linked with a late switch to the Premier League, with Arsenal considered front-runners in the race for his signature.

However, the Gunners eventually opted to instead sign Kim Kallstrom on loan until the end of the season when they were widely expected to go back in for Draxler.

Schalke sporting director Horst Heldt confirmed that the club had rejected a bid for the 20-year-old but does expect him to depart - although perhaps not as soon as some have predicted.

"The time will come for him to change clubs, but it hasn't happened now and I don't necessarily think it will happen this summer," he said. "However, with his quality, Julian is unstoppable. He will be a top player in Europe."

Sky Bet make Arsenal 1/3 to land their man before September 1, with United quoted at 9/2. Bayern Munich are 6/1 to keep him in the Bundesliga while a move to Chelsea can be backed at 12/1.

"Draxler would be a major coup for Arsenal and while they could've done with him in January, they do look in pole position to sign him in the summer," said Sky Bet's Sandro Di Michele.

"Konoplyanka is also expected to move to the Premier League although Liverpool might face competition for his signature from Tottenham. It could come down to which of the pair - if either - is playing in the Champions League next season."

One of the big moves that did go through on Deadline Day was that of Konstantinos Mitroglou to Fulham.

The Greek striker can be backed at 11/10 to score over 5.5 goals this season and is 5/1 to score on his debut - likely to be at Manchester United on Sunday. Those who expect him to find his feet quickly can have 66/1 that he wins a player of the month award before the end of the season.

Sky Bet were impressed with Fulham's business but cut them to 1/2 for relegation following Saturday's home defeat to Southampton.

"Our traders liked what Rene Meulensteen did during the window but Mitroglou needs to hit the ground running to get them out of trouble," added Di Michele.
