Lucas Akins and Filipe Morais struck as struggling Stevenage picked up their first League 1 win since November with a 2-0 victory against Swindon.
Akins opened the scoring for Boro when he fired past Wes Foderingham after 37 minutes before Francois Zoko was felled by Grant Hall in the box 10 minutes after half-time.
Morais fired home the resulting penalty to earn the hosts a vital victory.
In the night's other match, Walsall moved into the play-off places with a 1-0 win over Oldham but had to survive a last-gasp penalty at the Banks's Stadium.
A 65th-minute strike from Sam Mantom clinched the points for the Saddlers, but the home side were indebted to goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell for a brilliant save to keep out substitute Adam Rooney's fierce spot-kick after James Tarkowski had been brought down by Paul Downing.
