The former will face Barcelona next while the Gunners take on defending champions Bayern Munich with Manuel Pellegrini's side out to 16s from 14/1.

It looks unlikely to be straightforward for Barca though and Sky Bet make them 5/1 currently from 9/2.

Arsene Wenger's Arsenal are now rated 28/1 chances with their opponents still heading the betting at 5/2.

Chelsea are 12/1 with a trip to Galatasaray next on their European schedule while Manchester United meet Olympiakos of Greece.

Jose Mourinho's men are 12s from 14s while the Red Devils have been trimmed to 14s from 16s.

Sky Bet's Dale Tempest said: "The tie of the round has to be Manchester City against Barcelona, in what will be a huge test for both managers.

"We can't separate the sides in the betting on the first leg at the Etihad Stadium with both priced 8/5 for the win, though Barcelona are 2/5 to progress overall."
