Our Going For Goals team are back with a treble covering the Premier League, Championship and League Two.

Wigan v Southampton (CH)

Wigan produced the fighting spirit needed in a relegation battle as they came back from two goals down to draw 2-2 at Stoke in midweek but they head into their crucial clash with Southampton desperate for their first league victory of the year.

However, Saints were described by Sir Alex Ferguson as the best team to come to Old Trafford based on their second-half display in a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United on Wednesday night while they had gone six league games unbeaten before then, including six points away from home.

A similar performance should help them get on the scoresheet at the DW Stadium although they do have the joint worst defensive record on the road in the top flight with 28 goals conceded from 12 games.

Ipswich v Middlesbrough (DJ)

The sheen has come off Mick McCarthy's start at Portman Road a little in recent games and their inability to hold firm at the back - particularly late in the game on the last two occasions - is a problem the Yorkshireman has yet to resolve.

Unless the loan arrival of Richard Stearman makes an immediate impact, I can see the visitors getting on the scoresheet as they continue their fight at the right end of the table from a position in the play-off spots.

The Tractor Boys are the lowest scorers in the section but they do have options up front despite the loss of DJ Campbell and new arrival David McGoldrick is added to that mix and did well last week against Bristol City.

AFC Wimbledon v Burton (NH)

Kingsmeadow is the venue for Saturday's League Two Going for Goals selection.

AFC Wimbledon enter this match at the bottom of the table but they have been successful in this market in recent weeks with three out of their four previous games seeing both teams score.

Burton jumped up to third with the 1-1 draw at Oxford in midweek and will be hoping for more success in this encounter.
